Episode 173: The Crew\u2019s is running from zombies or vampires (they\u2019re not sure) as they discuss David Cronenberg\u2019s Rabid. It\u2019s an earlier Cronenberg film, and you can see the building blocks of his best work. Rabid, along with George Romero\u2019s The Crazies, influenced the zombie genre with the outbreaks having originated from a virus or drug. The film\u2019s low budget does show and who knew David Cronenberg worked with porn stars. Maybe that last part isn\u2019t surprising.<\/p>\n
